"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." Chronicles 7:14

After all the emphasis on politics and the economic situation our country is facing, the moral decay in our land, the lack of respect in so many areas of life - all this leaves me crying out to God for help. He holds the answers. So often the above scripture comes to mind. All the boasting and promising of new programs and changes in government really don't mean a lot. We as Christians know that our hope is in the Lord. We cant control what others do, but it sure is our responsibility to pray, really pray - for our country's leaders and we must keep pointing others to Christ. All the progress and new inventions and latest technology - none of it brings peace to the soul. None of it is eternal. We must humble ourselves and pray to our wonderful Lord for real revival in our land. Do I sound like I am on my soapbox?
