Paisley Elizabeth and Grandma

Praise the Lord our little princess has arrived safely and all is well! Only God knows the great joy in this mother's heart to finally see our first daughter have the great blessing of a child. We are so thankful that Julie made it through with her favorite Scripture: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." She was a trooper!

Our family has teased Julie and Bill that they look like brother and sister instead of a married couple. Even their baby pictures are remarkably similar. So we are not surprised to see little Paisley looking exactly like BOTH of them! "Aunt Laurie" took this picture at the hospital. Hard not to grin with thanksgiving and pride!

Mar,

She as PRECIOUS as she can be!!
Now, don't you go spoiling her, you hear!

She will have a wonderful time when she is old enough to have those wonderful tea parties with you and her dolls. I know you can't wait!

Blessings on you and Paisley Elizabeth!

Mar,
I've found a project that should keep me busy while Mr.Plant Lady is gone. I invited one of the ladies from church (actually a cousin) over for supper tonight (Friday) and then we will work on some of the gourds I've been telling you about. She is very interested in learning how to make them. I also convinced her to take a beading class with me. I may have some jewelry to show you if I can learn the techniques. How's that for spending my spare time home alone?

By the way, I just finished those neatly stacked dishes and have moved on to folding laundry. Do you ever catch up with that? It seems that I don't!

How is Paisley Elizabeth doing? I'm sure she is fast becoming spoiled, isn't she?

I think I'll make myself a cup of orange spice tea. Wish you were here to share it with me.

Blessings~
