Poppin Buttons

Okay Folks, you will have to indulge me. After all, I am a member of the Grandma Club and we members do have to be tolerated for the privileges we take. Although I am not out and about these days, we did sneak over to a dress rehearsal and got a sneak preview of the Oscar Wilde play, "The Canterville Ghost." Yep, my beautiful 13 year old granddaughter, Hannah was on stage! She had appeared in minor roles in the community theater, but this time she had a leading role and received the Outstanding Actor's Award for her performance and willingness previously to take supportive roles, but now to tackle and do wonderfully in a leading roll. I had to hold myself back from loudly declaring that "That's my granddaughter up there!" But I did pop a button or two.....

Mar,

I really enjoyed visiting with you a few days ago. You have a lovely home and the hospitality was wonderful. The tea and finger sandwiches were marvelous. Dorothy and I were delighted to spend time with such a great hostess!

I enjoyed meeting your daughter and grandchildren. Your daughter and I got to speak further while Dorothy was giving voice lessons.
I enjoyed it very much.

Blessings to you all~

Hey there Plant Lady!

Well, I felt honored that you came over and we could share a "spot of tea". I was fascinated with the stories about your aunt and things of the past. I hope you write a book or some kind of collection of those rich memories.

Looking forward to more stories on your blog.

Your new friend,
Mar
